In addition to four counselors and four administrators, the professional staff at MPA Jr-Sr HS includes approximately 60 classroom teachers.  Over half the teachers have ten or more years professional experience in curriculum and instruction.  Another 20 employees in a range of clerical, custodial, food service, technical, and other support positions bring the total secondary staff to near 100.

Classes are arranged on a traditional eight period schedule with an activity period at the end of the day. Each class period is 42 minutes long.  The schedule rotates elective courses on an A/B daily schedule.  The 25 minute daily activity period allows professional staff to meet weekly and for students to participate in extra curricular activities or seek remediation and enrichment opportunities from staff.  Three lunches serve all students and students are given four minutes for passing periods between classes.
