The SAT will be administered at Mt. Pleasant Area High School on Saturday, October 7, 2017.  The deadline to register without the late fee is Friday, September 8, 2017.  Registration materials are available in the Guidance Office or online at  Contact Mr. Potoka with any questions.


The PSAT will be administered to interested 10th or 11th grade students on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.  Any 10th or 11th grader who would like to take the PSAT should sign up in the Guidance Office.  The test fee is $16.00 Students should have the fee with them when they sign up.  Checks can be made out to Mt. Pleasant Area School District.  Registration deadline is Wednesday,  October 4.


Mt. Pleasant and Southmoreland High Schools will be holding a Financial Aid Night on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 6:30 pm in the Mt. Pleasant Area High School Auditorium.  A speaker from PHEAA will be there to present information and answer questions.  This seminar is intended specifically for parents of seniors and juniors whose children are interested in pursuing any type of post-secondary education.  


Mt. Pleasant Area High School is required by law to provide a list of juniors and seniors to the armed services for recruiting purposes. Information on this list includes name, address, and phone number. If you would like to have your son or daughter's information removed from the list please contact Mr. Potoka at (724) 547-4100 ext. 1730 or by email at [email protected] by Friday, October 6, 2017.  Students can also remove their information by stopping in the Guidance Office.
