As winter sports season is in full swing several of our life skills kids joined together to compete with local schools in a game of Bocce!
This week MP students involved in Interact Club were hard at work putting together some care packages for local shut in residents living at the Harmon House Care Center
Mount Pleasant Students in Anatomy and AP Biology were able to attend Penn State Eberly Campus to further their learning experiences with some hands on training.
Make up Picture day for anyone who missed getting their pictures taken during the picture day in September is scheduled for WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1st. Extra picture forms are available in both the junior high and senior high offices. The photographers will be here and setting up in the AUDITORIUM at 7am.

If you are a student-athlete planning on participating in a sport in college, this webinar will contain important information about initial eligibility.
Mount Pleasant Area High School is required by law to provide a list of juniors and seniors to the armed services for recruiting purposes. Information on this list includes name, address, and phone number. If you would like to have your son or daughter’s information removed from the list, please contact Mr. Potoka at (724) 547-4100 ext. 1730 or by email at cpotoka@mpasd.net by Friday, September 15, 2023. Seniors who had their information removed last year do not need to do so again.
The PSAT will be administered to interested 10th and 11th grade students on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. This test is excellent practice for the SAT and can lead to scholarship opportunities for 11th grade students. Any 10th or 11th grader who would like to take the PSAT should sign up in the Guidance Office. The test fee is $18.00. Students should have the fee with them when they sign up. Checks can be made out to Mt. Pleasant Area School District. Registration deadline is Friday, September 15. Contact Mr. Potoka at 724-547-4100 ext. 1730 or cpotoka@mpasd.net with any questions.
